Talk:Cleaning
This is the Cleaning Discussion page.
You are encouraged to leave any comments or queries below. Please sign all contributions by appending 2 hyphens and 4 tildes (--~~~~), which will be automatically expanded into your user name and a time stamp.
To start this page off I've added initial headings. Feel free to add random thoughts, half-baked ideas, whatever. While editing, a line starting with an asterisk will be rendered as a bullet point. Please use generic rather than proprietary names where possible --Philip (talk) 09:56, 18 June 2022 (UTC)

- electronics
- * many times the connectors build up corrosion, particularly connectors that are not gold plated.
- * disconnecting connectors and reconnecting can clean off corrosion. (it is not always intuitive on how to disconnect!)
- * connectors can be cleaned with (in order of severity) a tissue, an eraser(rubber), soft copper brush, electronic cleaner, emery cloth, file

Organisation and general points
Should we split any of the sections up, for example, cleaning situations into classes of device? When we've got a decent list the answer might be clearer. --Philip (talk) 09:56, 18 June 2022 (UTC)
