Glossary:TCXO
A Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillator or TCXO comprises a quartz crystal and a control IC in a single package. A temperature sensor on the IC allows it to compensate for the variations in frequency of the crystal with temperature, resulting in considerably improved accuracy.
